Description
Maximize your head protection with this stylish German Sallet. Replacing the bascinet, this helmet rose to popularity in the mid 15th century. Keeping in line with traditional Italian design, this piece features 16 gauge steel construction with a blackened interior which contains a leather suspension liner and adjustable leather chin strap with brass buckle. It also has a hinged visor which can be locked in the up or down position with retaining pins. Bearing an authentic appearance and light to wear, this sallet is great for costumes and re-enactments.
