This German mountain cap is made following the traditional design of WWII Wehrmacht Gebirgsjäger headgear. Woven from 100% wool, it provides the necessary warmth and resilience needed for harsh alpine environments. Inside, a lining of soft forest green cotton rests against the wearer’s head, offering comfort during extended use. The metal buttons, plain and without insignia, reflect the practical approach of field caps,often left unmarked or customized to the wearer’s unit or rank.
