Description
The Furdess Helm is constructed from riveted plates of thick, 14 gauge steel. The interior of the helm and the inside of the faceplate and hinged side plates are lined with leather. The internal leather suspension liner can be adjusted to fit and bands of foam padding are hidden behind the leather at the base of the helmet dome. Two brass rings on the side plates are used to tie a chin strap in place – a leather cord is included to be used for this purpose.
