This aventail serves as an add-on to your helmet to ensure that the neck is protected with a layer of mail defense. It is crafted from dome-riveted flat rings of chainmail which are strongly stitched to a leather band. The links are of darkened stainless steel which serves to hinder accumulation of rust.
