Description
This boot dagger blade is forged from 512 layers of hand-welded Damascus steel, each fold hammered and folded to build a blade that balances toughness with a keen edge. The smith heats and hammers the steel repeatedly, folding it upon itself to blend the layers into a single, resilient piece. After forging, the blade is tempered to harden the steel while retaining flexibility, then carefully shaped and sharpened by hand. The swirling patterns visible on the blade’s surface come from acid etching, which reveals the layered steel beneath. No two blades share the exact same pattern, making each one a unique creation born of fire and hammer.
