Description
This arming dagger bears a double-edged blade forged from a combination of 1095 and 15N20 steels. Through a process of repeated heating, hammering, and folding, the blade is formed with roughly 280 to 350 layers of Damascus steel, producing a distinctive random pattern that makes each blade one of a kind. Beyond its striking appearance, Damascus steel is prized for its toughness and ability to hold a keen edge, qualities highly valued by warriors and smiths alike. The handle is crafted from sheesham wood, carefully fitted around the tang and wrapped with dyed red leather, secured by brass bands. At the base, a round pommel fashioned from Damascus steel provides balance and a fitting end to the grip. The guard, also forged from Damascus steel, marks the transition between blade and handle. Accompanying the dagger is a hand-tooled leather sheath, equipped with a belt loop and a snap closure, designed to protect the blade and allow for secure carry.
