Description
Call your warriors to the fray or summon kin to the feast! Crafted from a single, hollowed buffalo horn, this battle horn carries the weight of tradition and the wild spirit of the north. The brass rim is fitted with a Celtic knot pattern, etched deeply and held in place by sturdy brass pins, reflecting the artistry of the ancient peoples who once sounded such calls across misty fjords and rolling hills. At the mouthpiece end, a fully functional brass trumpet mouthpiece allows you to summon a clear, resonant call, whether to rally your comrades at a reenactment or to add authenticity to your Renaissance Fair attire.
Each horn is hand-polished, bringing out the natural luster of the horn’s surface while preserving its rugged character. Measuring roughly 16 to 19 inches, the size and coloration vary naturally, as no two horns are alike. To maintain its condition, treat the horn gently: wash it with mild soap, polish with vegetable oil to prevent drying, and occasionally coat the interior with beeswax to stave off cracks and preserve its tone.
