Description
This courtly stiletto has a high carbon steel blade and a brass hilt. The sheath is stitched leather with belt loop and retention strap.
This item is not constructed to the ??battle-ready?? standard of a sword or large dagger, but it is constructed solidly enough to be used within the parameters expected of a stiletto. The item uses a short tang due to the elaborate hilt construction instead of a standard tang that extends to the pommel. It is sturdy enough to be used strictly for piercing or thrusting. It should not be used to bang against hard objects or to be pulled and torqued when within a target.
