Emerging from the head gear of the mid-16th and early 17th centuries comes the Combed Morion Helmet with Red Plume. Keeping in line with traditional design characterized by a flat brim and crest from front to back, this handsome piece features 16 gauge steel construction with a blackened interior which contains an adjustable leather suspension liner. Further enhancement comes from a plume holder with a red feathered plume and segmented cheek plates riveted to a leather backing that also serves as an adjustable chin strap with brass buckle. Stylish and authentic in appearance, this helmet is great for costumes, re-enactments, and display.
