Description
This Close Helm is crafted from 18 gauge steel and blackened on the inside. The two-part visor of the helm is hinged and can swivel upwards; additionally, the wearer has the option to raise only the top half of the visor, leaving the bottom half in place to protect the bottom half of the face. Being a close helm, the entire front half of the helm is hinged to allow to helm to be fitted around the head. The helm is secured closed with a hook.
The helm is lined with an adjustable leather suspension liner and finished with a leather chin strap with an adjustable brass buckle.
