Description
This Close Helm is constructed from 16 gauge steel. It is blackened on the inside and lined with an adjustable suspension liner of leather. The chin strap of leather is adjustable with its brass buckle.
The two-part visor of the helm is hinged and the wearer can opt to raise the entire visor, or just the top half of it. Also, the entire front half of the helm is hinged as well to allow the helm to be fitted around the held. The helm is held closed and secured with a hook.
