Description
This pair of mail voiders are constructed from wedge-riveted flat rings and alternated with solid flat rings. The rings are of mild steel and are 9 mm in diameter and 17 gauge of thickness. These chainmail panels are meant to be sewn and fitted onto an arming doublet or gambeson to add protection to the armpits and sides. Though this can be used on its own to upgrade padded armor, it is best used to provide armor that fits beneath plate armor and covers the gaps between plate armor.
