Description
Known as a Standard or Bishops Mantle, this chainmail gorget-like piece of armor is a good addition to a chainmail haubergeon or hauberk to provide protection for the neck in the absence of a chainmail coif. The Mantle is made from flat, stainless steel links. The top links of the chainmail are stitched onto a leather band. The diameter of the Bishops Mantle is adjusted with a pair of brass buckles and leather straps.
