Description
This chainmail standard / Bishop’s Mantle will add an essential layer of protection to the neck and collar – an area that your typical Hauberk or Haubergeon will leave critically exposed due to the size of the head opening needed for donning mail torso armor. Not only is it a priority to get mail protection for this area, but it also is a big upgrade to your appearance and will make your armored ensemble look far more complete . The mail links used for this standard are crafted from 6 mm round rings which are dome riveted and these alternate with solid flat rings. This ring type creates a particularly tight and impressive weave of mail that still remains flexible to ensure that it is a significant upgrade from mail with larger rings. The rings are fitted to a leather collar with interlaced stitching and a pair of brass buckles with straps allows for the armor piece to be adjusted to fit.
