For many centuries, mail was a popular form of armor and served to protect the wearer well and one of the pieces that any warrior would want would have been the Mail Armor Coif. Made from 16 gauge steel, this selection boasts of a common “international” link pattern consisting of 4 links through a 5th with an outer link diameter of 7/16″ and an inner link diameter of 3/8″. With authentic design, this coif looks great worn with or without a helmet and is perfect for costumes and reenactments. Made from 16 gauge steel
