Description
This Type D Viking Sword has a detailed hilt of well-cast bronze and a blade of EN45 high carbon steel. The pommel is of two parts and is finished with a threaded pommel cap over the tang- the two halves of the pommel are then riveted together for strength. A felt tab that protects the guard from contact with the scabbard is fitted atop the guard it can be easily removed if desired.
The wood-core scabbard is bound in leather and finished with bronze knotwork accents. It can be worn with its riveted bronze suspension loop.
