Description
This spearhead features a thickened tip that has been deliberately rounded and blunted, making it appropriate for sport, reenactment, and stage combat. The blade edges are also made thicker than those of a traditional fighting spear, enhancing durability and resistance to damage while prioritizing safety during training or performance. Forged from high carbon steel, this spearhead is designed to be mounted on a wooden haft of your own crafting, which should be tapered to fit snugly into the socket. Two pre-drilled holes are provided to secure the spearhead firmly in place using your preferred screws.
Please Note: screws and mounting hardware are not included.
Fun Fact: Blunt-tipped spearheads like this were often used in medieval training schools to teach young warriors the art of spear fighting without the risk of serious injury, allowing them to master technique before facing real battle.
