Description
Maximize your head protection with this stylish Bellows-Faced Sallet. Replacing the bascinet, this helmet rose to popularity in the mid 15th century. Keeping in line with traditional Italian design, this piece features 16 gauge steel construction with a blackened interior which contains a cotton suspension liner and adjustable leather chin strap with brass buckle. It also has a hinged visor which can be locked in the down position with a closure hook. Bearing an authentic appearance and light to wear, this sallet is great for costumes and re-enactments.
