This set is designed after the original steel armor that men of the Middle Ages wore on battlefront to deflect blows. This tube-shaped pair features 18 gauge steel construction with reinforced edges and overlapping layers of steel riveted together to add maximum protection. In addition, fine cow hide leather links the flexible joints and is used for the adjustable strap. Further enhancement comes from a lacquered black painted interior and an oiled exterior. Fully functional and historically accurate, these vambraces are great for costumes and re-enactments.
