Authentically designed after the popular chainmail armor of the Middle Ages which incorporates interlocked metal rings in a pattern, this piece features high tensile wire round rings with butted construction and a natural finish. Each ring has an 16 gauge thickness and measures 9 mm in diameter. A leather band serves as a base for the chainmail to be sewn into and allows for riveting to a helmet. Great for costumes and re-enactments and a wonderful addition for armor connosseurs and medieval enthusiasts. Length of Leather Band is 24”
