Description
This sword is based on a 15th century original in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The tempered blade is made from high carbon steel and tempered to a 48-52 HRc hardness.
The guard and pommel are cast from bronze and the grip is two halves of polished horn which are riveted to a thick blade tang. Additionally, the sword is peened over the pommel for an altogether durable construction.
The included scabbard is wood with a leather belt and bronze fittings and an integrated sword belt of durable leather.
