Description
The Faire Regular Adjustable Baldric Belt is designed to be slung over the shoulder, crossing the chest to carry a sword at the opposite hip. This arrangement allows the sword’s full weight to rest at the waist, while the shoulder strap shares some of the burden, making it easier to bear during long marches or battles. The belt is crafted from sturdy, genuine leather, chosen for its durability and ability to mold over time to the wearer’s form. Antiqued brass rivets and buckles secure the leather, providing reliable fastening that won’t easily give way under strain.
The section of the baldric that supports the sword’s scabbard is made from thick leather, reinforced with strong stitching and brass rivets to withstand the constant rubbing and weight of the blade. This scabbard holder is adjustable via buckles, allowing it to fit swords of varying lengths, ensuring a snug hold for your weapon. Along the main belt, nine holes provide further adjustment to accommodate different body sizes and preferences for how tight or loose the baldric sits. While primarily intended for long swords and claymores, this design can accommodate most medieval sword types comfortably. Please note: the sword itself is not included with this belt.
