Description
During the 12th century, it was very common to see Normans from Sicily wearing this style of Phrygian Nasal Helmet around the Mediterranean. The Norman domination managed to last almost two centuries from 1030-1190, where they marked their area with their language, politics and social order. During this time, they carried out continuous osmosis with Arab, Greek, Latin and Lombard people, ultimately creating a unique hybrid society. Crafted from 14-gauge steel, our helmet features a coned tip and a nasal guard. It is adorned with leather and given a chin strap, so it is easy to wear as well.
