Carried by American soldiers for over 70 years from the Mexican War to the Spanish American War, the 1840 Non Comissioner Sword made quite a splash. Featuring a single-edged blade with a broad fuller, it has a ribbed grip and brass hilt, a global pommel with a capstan, and kidney-shaped hand guards. A steel scabbard is also included. With authentic design, this is a great addition to any collection.
