Description

A Fauchard is a polearm crafted for extended reach, favored by European foot soldiers from the 11th through the 17th centuries. This particular piece is hand-forged from high carbon steel, carefully tempered to achieve a balance of strength and flexibility. The blade curves gracefully for 17 inches before tapering to a keen point, while a forward-facing hook runs along the spine, designed to catch or pull an opponent’s weapon or shield. Wing-like spikes extend from the shaft near the blade, serving both as a defensive guard and an offensive feature. Two holes are drilled into the mounting socket for securely affixing the blade to a wooden pole, allowing you to assemble a custom weapon true to its historical design.

*Please note: A mounting shaft is NOT INCLUDED, but can be sourced from most local hardware suppliers.
